This notice is to inform you that the City is planning median work on Redhawk Pkwy that may impact the adjacent Redhawk community. The City will be removing all pine trees that are causing uneven road surfaces between Paseo Parallon/Overland Trail and El Chimisal Rd. Following tree and stump removal the City’s contractor will be repairing all damaged road sections. Once the road work is complete, trees will be installed as noted below. This project is not a full road replacement.
Here’s a tentative schedule of work:
April/May - Remove 60 pine trees per attached map (yellow highlights). Approx. 3 weeks of work
May/June - Repair all tree damaged areas of uneven road surfaces and replacing striping, loops, thermal plastic, etc. Approx. 3 weeks of work
June/July - Install root barrier and re-plant trees with similar species as Vail Ranch medians (Canary Island Pines and Crape Myrtles)
