If you are tired of the traffic gridlock on the 15 freeway, I would like you to join me in contacting the "rebootmycommute.org" site and seek their support to upgrade the 15 freeway. Riverside County was awarded a grant of 114 million dollars by the Federal Government to use for easing traffic congestion. The city of Temecula is requesting 50 million dollars from that grant to support Hwy 15 improvements to mitigate traffic congestion. 70% of the traffic during peak drive times is just passing through Temecula. They do not live here, they live in our surrounding communities. As such, fixing the 15 freeway will be a benefit not only to our residents, but the entire region. The final decision is anticipated in the next two weeks. They need to hear from us all the impact on our quality of lives, safety etc. The more Temecula residents they hear from, the better the opportunity to receive all or part of our request.
