Neighborhood Watch is a community crime prevention program administered by the Temecula Citizens Corps which enlists the active participation of citizens in cooperation with the Police Department and the City of Temecula. Its purpose is to reduce crime and create an alert neighborhood by teaching simple crime prevention steps and providing general and specific information on crime in each neighborhood. If you are interested in starting Neighborhood Watch in your Redhawk neighborhood please contact Temecula Citizen Corps at [email protected] or call 951-302-4548. Additional information is available at www.cityoftemecula.org (click on Residents, then Temecula Citizen Corps, then Neighborhood Watch).
You may have noticed some of the grass in the Redhawk common areas went dormant this winter especially in the Wolf Valley Road and Redhawk Parkway area. Over the years bermuda and kikuyu grasses have been spreading in the turf areas and since these are creeping grasses the problem will only get worse from year to year. The Board of Directors has approved a proposal to eradicate these grasses and replace it with tall fescue. This project will begin immediately. Please bear with us as sections of turf will be dead during the project.
