Per Jerry Gonzalez, Associate Engineer at the City of Temecula, City staff will be providing an update of the Nighthawk Pass striping alternatives to the Public/Traffic Safety Commission at their meeting of March 27, 2014. The meeting is held in the City Council Chambers at 6 PM, at the Temecula Civic Center.
This meeting gives residents an opportunity to provide comments regarding the preferred striping alternative. Since this is just an informational update to the Commission, they don't expect there to be any changes to the planned implementation of the striping, unless there is opposition from the residents.
They are also asking the Commission to consider the feasibility of revising the parking restriction on the south side of Nighthawk Pass to prohibit parking from 11 PM to 6 AM. This proposal addresses the Association’s concerns about overnight parking.
The City is still on track to implement striping alternative 2 in early April, with their striping maintenance contract.
