"Dear Friends of the Vail Ranch Restoration Association –
Here’s some breaking news.
It is finally happening. After 18 years of working and planning, the renovation of the Vail Ranch Headquarters is nearly completed. Do I hear a big cheer?
Ribbon Cutting at the Vail Headquarters will take place on Saturday, July 16 at 10:30 a.m. with festivities 10 – 5. There will be live music, hay wagon rides, a chuck wagon barbecue, gunfighters, roping, historical displays, a petting zoo, games for children, and arts and crafts. You’ve got to be there!
We hope to have local dignitaries, Vail Family members, and descendants of the people who worked and lived at the Ranch Headquarters (if you fit any of those categories, please email me with your names and addresses so you will receive a special written invitation to the event)and everyone who is enthusiastic about living in the Temecula area.
The Vail Ranch Restoration Association (VaRRA) is so pleased with Arteco’s careful restoration and renovation of the buildings and property. Together we have identified and incorporated historic features throughout the property including items like the Vail water tank, historic Temecula granite pieces and old machinery.
Besides the Ribbon Cutting, ongoing ventures are planned. Each Sunday from 12 – 5 will be Sunday Fundays for families with food vendors, historical displays, crafts, and rides. On each Tuesday beginning July 19 a certified Farmers Market will feature their local produce from 9 – 1.
Please make it a habit to visit the merchants onsite whose investments make the property financially viable: Augie's Coffee, a la Minute Ice Cream, Nectar clothing boutique, Project Pie, Winchester Western Saddlery, Cheflavor and others as they open for business.
Do you have an interest in setting up a booth on our Ribbon Cutting day or on Sunday Fundays? For more information, contact the folks in charge at [email protected].
You are receiving this because at some time during the past 18 years you signed up for it. If you do not want to be on our email list, please hit “reply” and give the message “drop me”.
Also, if you are receiving multiple copies of our communications, please “reply” and say “I get two”.
If you would like to volunteer to help with either the Ribbon Cutting or Sunday Fundays, please contact Susan Blanch at [email protected].
I’m sending you copies of four flyers that tell about the events I summarized above. Please come and visit the Vail Headquarters. Tell your friends. Spread the good news!"
